It is wonderful to work with Debbie when we volunteer at swimming events. Debbie and I have worked in stressful roles of which Debbie is able to control the situation with ease and ensures organisation out of the chaos! As well of course it is not the same without Debbie who is professional but always brings a smile and makes sure we all enjoy ourselves while we help run the events. Debbie is patient, works very well with everyone, helps guide those who are not sure/shy and enables them to gain confidence in the role they have been given. I am now able to post with confidence, although I know there is room for improvement. This week I have attended two zoom meetings with complete strangers and felt confident to take part in discussions, something that I could not have done three weeks ago. After a few days of working on my skills I was definitely getting better and by the end of the first week I did my first ever Facebook Live which was a big thing for me.
